A typical boiler emits air that is over 400 degrees Fahrenheit into the atmosphere. We recapture that heat and use it to preheat our dryer chamber. One winter day when the outside air coming into the dryer chamber was zero degrees, we turned on our heat recovery and the temperature went up to 230 degrees without adding any extra energy.
That’s a lot of energy saved!
